The Story of the Woman Who Forgot Her Gold

She arrived at the threshold of her life carrying a heaviness she couldn’t name. Not depression. Not anxiety. Something quieter. A subtle ache that lived beneath her ribs — the feeling of being disconnected from herself, as if she had misplaced something precious long ago.

Her therapist, a woman with warm eyes and a talent for listening between the lines, asked her gently:

“What if the part of you that feels lost isn’t broken… just buried?”

The woman blinked. Buried. The word felt true.

The therapist pulled out a sheet of paper — a simple diagram, hand‑drawn, almost childlike. At the top was a circle labeled Lead. At the bottom, another circle labeled Gold. Between them, a winding path.

“This,” the therapist said, “is your Alchemy Map.”

The woman frowned. “Alchemy? Like turning metal into gold?”

“Exactly,” the therapist replied. “Except here, the metal is your pain. And the gold is your truth.”
